Kirsty Wilkins, Saxaphones & Vocals - Time To BreatheFavourite Floyd Tracks:
Favourite Floyd Tracks: 'Money' of course because I get to play some proper sax and 'Wish you were here' because it's beautiful music.

Introduction To Pink Floyd:
One of my favourite, eccentric buddies from school copied me a couple of CDs consisting of Pink Floyd and Frank Zappa.

We used to listen to all the tracks and try to write our own renditions. I think of these memories fondly when I listen to Pink Floyd.

Background
:
My musical interests began to develop when i was 9 years old and began taking lessons on the tenor horn.
I went on to play in County Youth Brass Band and pass my grade 8 with merit.

Throughout this time I was trained classically with little outlet for creative flair.

My taste for alternative music began when I was 12, around the same time I picked up the guitar, which was soon followed by the saxophone at the age of 15. Since then I have played in covers bands and original bands.

Currently I am thoroughly enjoying playing saxophone in 'Time To Breathe' along with playing and singing in my other band 'The Tearooms'.

Equipment:
Yamaha 62 Alto Sax
