Time To Breathe In ConcertA BRIEF HISTORY
Formed in 2005 by Jim Hutchinson, ‘Time to Breathe’ was essentially a joining of two bands - ‘Out of the Flesh’ and ‘Chaos Theory’.

All members had one thing in common - the love of the music of ‘Pink Floyd’.

It was decided from the outset that the band was to be based upon the ‘live’ shows of ‘Pink Floyd’, rather than their studio albums, with a particular focus on the legendary ‘Pulse’ shows of 1994.

A large lighting rig and P.A. system was assembled by Jim’s son Darren, in order to captivate both the sights and sounds of those amazing concerts. This is a constantly evolving and extremely versatile system, adaptable to all sizes of venues and never fails to impress!

The band has played over 40 shows to date with some notable ones along the way including a fund raising concert on behalf of the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance at the The Spinney Hill Theatre, Northampton. Wellingborough's classic ‘Party in the Park’ Open Air festival and the ‘Nutstock’ Music Festival, where the band has performed for the past three consecutive years.

As with ‘Pink Floyd’ itself, there have been personnel changes along the way, with various members departing to pursue other projects, but ‘Time to Breathe’ are still very much alive, and are currently rehearsing with two new members to create a special show for 2010, something which we are all extremely excited about.

Watch out for a few ‘surprises’ soon to be announced, all designed to make the ‘Time to Breathe’ Pink Floyd Tribute show even more authentic and one certainly not to be missed! As they say, watch this space...
